Bam Margera Ordered to Trial After Allegedly Rupturing Brother’s Ear Drum

Bam Margera could be confronting time in the slammer. The Ass star, 43, has been blamed for truly attacking his sibling Jess Margera throughout the end of the week. According to the Associated Press, Bam allegedly struck his sibling on Sunday at their home near Philadelphia after the veteran of the reality television show received text messages informing him that he required assistance for ongoing mental health issues.
Bam argued not liable to misdeed accusations, including basic attack and conveying terroristic intimidations. Even though Bam was granted bail of $50,000, Judge Albert Iacocca decided that he will still have to testify against the allegations.

The TV personality was required to undergo a drug and alcohol screening in order to continue working until then. In any case, during the court appearance, Bam uncovered that he had gone through medication and liquor treatment this year and is presently living with previous Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom. Jess also spoke during the court proceedings, claiming that his sole purpose was to see his brother receive the care he allegedly requires. I’m doing whatever it takes not to cause him problems here. I simply believe he should get the assistance since I feel like this is our last opportunity,” he shared while affirming.

Jess also described Bam’s behavior as “frightening and unpredictable,” noting that their interactions reached a terrifying new high during Bam’s two-week home visit in April. Jess went on to say that worrying incidents have been taking place for about two decades.
This previous end of the week’s episode brought about the police being called after Bam supposedly hit Jess in his nose and ear, breaking his eardrum. After Jess said that Bam had kicked in her bedroom door, her girlfriend, who was in the room, called the police. One of Bam’s attorneys, Michael van der Veen, minimized the seriousness of the incident. I don’t have the foggiest idea what we’re doing here. He added, “This is a disagreement between two brothers over coffee on a Sunday morning,” mentioning the numerous times the siblings had playedfully fought on Jackass and its spinoffs. However, according to the Associated Press, Bam’s attorney was reminded by the Chester County magistrate that no film crew was present during the altercation.

Bam left the town hall with less charges than he had while the consultation started — examiners dropped two of four counts of terroristic dangers after the stand-in supposedly taken steps to shoot different relatives and left a note undermining Jess. Authorities and family members reached the resolution that Bam has no admittance to guns. Van der Veen provided a statement to PEOPLE on Friday regarding the events of the day. The primer hearing was significant on the grounds that we got two wrongdoings removed and three held for court. In addition, we were able to obtain useful testimony to construct and support our defense in this case,” he stated.
Van der Veen went on to say, “Judge Albert Michael Iacocca did a great job treating Mr. Margera like he would treat anyone else.” The requesting of a medication and liquor assessment is standard working methodology for a situation like this. We’re confident in the end the matter will avoid the courts and stay the private issue of this family.”
During the hearing on Thursday, the judge asked the Viva La Bam star why he went to therapy on his own this year, and he responded: to see Phoenix, my five-year-old son.
Phoenix is shared by Bam and his estranged wife Nikki Boyd, who has been involved in a number of legal disputes over the years. In February, Boyd filed for divorce after the couple secretly split up in 2021.

Boyd’s attorney David Glass told PEOPLE at the time, “Nikki Margera felt compelled to file for legal separation from her husband, Bam Margera, due to his continuing drug and alcohol abuse, erratic behavior, and due to his failure to provide support for her and their son.” However, Bam has since stated that they were never actually married. Bam opened up about how his only child gave him the will to live and saved his life during an appearance on Dr. Phil in 2019. Dr. Phil McGraw asked Bam if he would die for his child because he emotionally declared his then-toddler to be his “best friend” and said he would do anything for him. Better believe it, for sure,” Bam said accordingly before Dr. Phil added, “The inquiry is: Will you live for him?”
Well, that’s the problem. I had such a psychological episode that I truly thought, similar to, I … could simply go to the lake and be free. I felt as though the pain had vanished, and I had to beg for it to return. “Please just give me back my pain so I could stay because I want to be with him,” I said, according to Bam. I’ve crossed whatever a person’s breaking point is.
The professional skateboarder went on to say, “It was just everything at once.” I’m trying to get away from Nikki, but she keeps coming and yelling at me.'” It was Nikki and her stubbornness to not listen.
