Maude Apatow Calls Angus Cloud a ‘Magical Person’ in Tribute to ‘Euphoria’ Costar

Maude Apatow is honoring her late Happiness costar Angus Cloud two days after his surprising demise. In a moving Instagram post published on Wednesday, the 25-year-old actress referred to Cloud as “the funniest person ever.”

“I would get so eager to see on the timetable that we would be cooperating on the grounds that I realized we’d have the greatest day, snickering so hard,” she composed close by a photograph of the entertainer grinning. ” He was the sweetest and brought joy to everyone around him. He was the absolute best. Words can’t actually catch how supernatural of an individual he was. It breaks my heart.

She went on to say, “Angus, one of the greatest joys and blessings of my life was getting to know and work with you.” I will cherish you for eternity. ❤️” The entertainers showed up close by one another in seasons 1 and 2 of HBO’s dull secondary school series, with Cloud playing street pharmacist Fezco while Apatow depicts his old flame Lexi Howard.

Cloud reviewed his response to finding out about the pair’s on-screen relationship, telling Clamor in June 2022: ” When creator Sam Levinson spoke to us both, I recall him saying, “Yeah, it might be a little thing with Lexi and Fezco.”

He proceeded, “We were like, ‘OK, we should get it.’ We were at that point companions and s- – – , so we were very much like, ‘It’s lit.'” PEOPLE was informed on Monday by Cloud’s family that he had passed away earlier that day in their California residence. The entertainer was tracked down inert and affirmed dead by paramedics around 11:30 a.m. neighborhood time. The death has not been identified.

In a statement, Cloud’s family said, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.” Angus was special to us all in so many ways as an artist, friend, brother, and son.”

Cloud’s passing came not long after the demise of his dad. ” The main solace we have is realizing Angus is currently rejoined with his father, who was his closest companion,” the assertion proceeded. ” Angus was open about his fight with psychological well-being and we trust that his passing can be a suggestion to others that they are in good company and shouldn’t battle this on their own peacefully.” The Oakland local wasn’t looking for distinction when he was found for Happiness. Cloud was moved toward by a projecting specialist on a road in Brooklyn, which he at first believed was a “trick,” he told I-D. “To me I was like, they halted me since I seem as though I could be a star? After that, I think, “No, it’s because I look like a drug dealer.”
