Vanessa Kirby suffers wardrobe malfunction at ‘Mission: Impossible’ premiere


At the “Mission:” event, Vanessa Kirby had a wardrobe malfunction. During the premiere of “Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” on Monday at the Rose Theater in New York City, she made a mistake and made her slip dress have no straps. Kirby, 35, walked the red carpet in a stunning Schiaparelli silk spaghetti strap dress that she wore without a bra. As her strap fell down her shoulders, she had to hold up her dress so that she wouldn’t show her breasts.

Fortunately, the star — who plays Alanna Mitsopolis in the activity film — was wearing emotional dark show gloves that aided safeguard her chest from the cameras. On Twitter, one fan account posted a picture of the incident with the caption “Vanessa Kirby fighting with her dress, as always…” A supporter made the comment, “imagine her b00b flashing during the mi7 premiere,” to which the fan account replied, “god forbid.”

Because Kirby was seen inside the screening looking like she had fixed her broken strap, it appears that she did. The “Mission: The cast of “Impossible” has been touring to promote the summer action film. In June, they appeared together on the red carpet in Seoul, South Korea, and in Rome for the world premiere. The seventh installment in the series, which opens tomorrow in theaters, stars Kirby alongside Tom Cruise, a regular in the series, as well as Hayley Atwell and Rebecca Ferguson.
